Captain - David Kennedy | American
BIO: Captain Dave Kennedy began sailing in Nantucket at the mere age of 5; little did he know, 20 years later, it would become his lifelong career. Dave has had the good fortune of owning and living aboard 5 different vessels from Santa Cruz to St. Thomas to Newport, Rhode Island. He has completed 8 Atlantic crossings; 4 east and 4 west – all of which have allowed him to excel in all aspects of the boating industry. Having Captained vessels throughout his career from sailing yachts up to 164’ luxury yachts, Dave has had the enjoyment of spending time all over the world, including Italy, France, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece and Turkey.

While having extensive worldly adventures, Captain Dave finds the Bahamas to be his favorite cruising grounds. Chartering and private ventures over 22 years have given him abundant knowledge of this beautiful island nation.

Dave has a laid back, welcoming and inviting approach to his position as Captain. He enjoys guest interactions, excursions, and the occasional jokes; all with the utmost desire to give guests the experience of a lifetime.

In his down time, Dave has been known to rescue animals throughout the Bahamas, Virgin Islands and of course, the US. If the waves are inviting, he can also be found on a longboard enjoying the setting horizon.

ChiefStewardess | Haley Satterfield | American
BIO: Growing up on Florida’s coast, Haley’s love for the ocean began at a very young age. Combining that with her extensive past in hospitality and a degree in communications, becoming Chief Stewardess on a yacht was the perfect fit. Having grown up with 5 siblings, she loves the family feel of a tight knit crew.
She is creative, hardworking, team oriented and always goes above and beyond to give guests the trip of a lifetime. When not working you can find Haley skateboarding, surfing, snorkeling or enveloped in the next crime/ mystery novel, taking in the sunset.


Second Stewardess | Makenna Dorsey | American
BIO: Makenna was born in Tucson, Arizona and grew up in Florida. She has two brothers, including her twin. Growing up near the ocean, she enjoyed spending time on the water, snorkeling and boating. She attended Florida State University studying geography before moving to Austin, Texas. In 2020, she decided to start a career in yachting. Her passion for adventure began while traveling throughout Europe with her family and continues through her adventures in yachting.

1st Mate | Anastasia "Stasia" Babicki| American
BIO: Stasia has had a love for the ocean since she could remember. She grew up spending her summers on the Cape enjoying the cold New England’s ocean and all it had to offer.
She ventured South to Florida for college to study marine biology and environmental science at Eckerd College on the Tampa Bay. During college Stasia learned to sail and her love for the ocean, water sports and boating only grew. Stasia became a sailboat captain of Catamarans and a marine naturalist in the British Virgin Islands post-grad. She has also worked and lived in Hawaii on boats and doing Humpback whale research and yachting work. In her free time, she loves to free dive, snorkel, and take photos underwater of the beautiful wildlife and nature. You can also catch her wakeboarding, learning how to kite surf or simply enjoying swimming around in the beautiful waters of the Bahamas or wherever she is. Stasia is excited to get to know guests, take them on fun excursions and do whatever she can to make it the best trip and vacation ever.


Deckhand | Pieter James Smith | American
BIO: Pieter is one of the most friendly American South Africans you’ll meet. After the age of 7 he moved to SA enjoying the cold but beautiful oceans down the coast of Garden route. He always had a passion for ocean life, fishing, and water sports. Pieter constantly has a smile on his face and loves treating guests as friends with utmost respect. He has had two delightful years of yachting experience up and down the east-coast of Florida, as well as the Bahamas and Caribbean. Pieter has his yacht master and is a sharp mariner. Pieter is always keen for adventure and will always try to give you the best possible experience onboard.
